This session for me was very frustrating. My initial proposal and idea for the project ‘wearable architecture’ was invalid in accordance to the guided themes which had me very lost and disheartened as I really enjoyed exploring the manipulation of mass movement through architecture. ‘Wearable architecture’ - the characteristics of architecture that has a close relationship to the human body and its movement. I thought. I was enlightened that so this case was to be taken more literally, with works that had a closer scale to the individual body. I found blaming myself a lot today with deep regret for not reading the brief thoroughly, which if I had maybe done would have given me much more time to develop ideas more in line with the theme. As one may imagine I became very desperate, my ideas in replacement being highly lacking and uninspired. I found I wasn’t even considering context or any background research, building models based on the silhouettes of my original ideas and trying to ‘surfacely’ imagine their new profound purposes to a much smaller scale. we had to build front elevation models for our proposals exclusively out of foam board which was a new experience for me and one that did not go well. It was very restricting and boring to manipulate. Tomorrow I hope to have more refined concepts that somewhat have parallels to my initial, and themes on body manipulation where the structure is in charge
